Director of Logistics
A well-respected industry expert in Logistics and Supply Chain, Steve is tasked with establishing an infrastructure capable of supporting hyper growth. With over 20 years’ experience, he’s held Director level positions at The Chefs’ Warehouse (high end food distribution, NASDAQ: CHEF) and Ravago Group (largest reseller and distributor of raw plastics in the world, privately held). Steve has additional Senior Management experience in door entry systems (Sargent MFG, subsidiary of Assa Abloy, OTCMKTS: ASAZY) and construction hand tools (Stanley, Black & Decker, NYSE: SWK). He’s adept at improving processes, Operational Excellence, enhancing productivity, cost reduction initiatives, and implementing logistics technology solutions. Mr. Lang has also created industry changing strategies within plastics (railcars as mobile storage), and food distribution (multi-temp, modal deconsolidations). This type of experience correlates to the unique responsibility at Romtech to create a new logistics network capable of supporting a “White Glove” 3PL home delivery program, Hub & Spoke Supply Chain model, as well as a 100% reverse Logistics strategy.
