Accounts Payable Coordinator

Location: Brookfield, CT

Employment: Full time


ROMTech is now seeking an exceptional Accounts Payable Coordinator to with our Finance Department in our Brookfield, Connecticut office. This candidate will work on Accounts Payable functions.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Inputting invoices into our accounting system
  • Maintaining all Accounts Payable files
  • Verifying purchase orders against invoices and quality inspected and approved packing slips
  • Working with our Purchasing Agent and Quality Department on receiving discrepancies
  • Working with our vendors to resolve issues and maintaining existing relationships
  • Processing transactions and performing accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling of bank accounts
  • Assist with month-end closing deadlines in relation to Accounts Payable
  • Following up on RMAs
  • Special projects in the Finance Department
  • Handling Accounts Payable for separate entities
  • Reviewing monthly vendor statements
  • Work closely with Accounts Payable Manager on A/P issues
  • Analyzing workflow process
  • Other duties as they arise

Requirements and Qualifications

  • 2+ years’ work experience in accounting
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong and clear understanding of manufacturing accounting processes
  • Keen attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational skills and capacity to prioritize tasks
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build effective working relationships with internal partners
  • Motivated, reliable and flexible team player that enjoys to problem solve
  • Possesses a positive attitude
