Administrations Manager

About the Position:

HealthROM handles the delivery and billing of ROMTech’s flagship device, the PortableConnect as well as other DME items provided to patients. HealthROM now seeks an Administrations Manager who will be responsible for its effective, productive, and profitable operations. The Administrations Manager will provide oversight, direction and leadership to HealthROM’s team. The Administrations Manager will report directly to HealthROM & ROMTech’s CEO.

The position will focus on 4 major parts of the business, as follows: quality components, policy creation and maintenance, licensing, and auditing.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the productivity of HealthROM’s teams by reviewing daily metrics, identifying goals, KPIs, and collaborating with supervisors to achieve results. Recommend potential solutions and assist with implementing action plans
  • Continually promote organizational standards and develop best practices
  • Lead the development, maintenance, and implementation of training materials, communications and procedures related to revenue cycle, patient care, safety, and all other areas necessary to maintain DME/HME accreditation
  • Ensure overall consistency of operational processes, procedures, regulatory compliance, and customer service excellence to effectively improve the performance of HealthROM
  • Accountable for the administrative, operational, financial, regulatory (FDA), and planning

Effectively collaborate with the Board of Directors and partner with the executive team

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience in Medicare and insurance billing required, preferably in a DME company, with experience managing accreditation. Alternatively, a combination of equivalent training, education, and experience
  • 5+ years in a supervisory role
  • Complete understanding of Medicare program, DMEPOS Supplier Standards, and federal and state regulations for DME suppliers is required
  • DME/HME Operations experience, preferably across multiple states
  • Experience in successful submission of insurance claims
  • Experience with database analysis and data validation is required
  • Experience training and managing employees at various levels and directing departmental activities and goals
  • Ability to resolve outstanding issues and meet critical goals and deadlines
  • Commitment to work with a sense of urgency, dedication, and a high level of responsiveness
  • Performs well in a fast-paced and multi-faceted role
  • Ability to always maintain an outstanding professional demeanor
  • Strong sense of initiative, critical thinking skills, and attention to detail
  • Assiduous observance of confidentiality and discretion
  • Proficiency with computer systems, including Office 365
  • Proficiency in Brightree is a plus
