Data Entry Supervisor

About the Position:

ROMTech now seeks an experienced Data Entry Supervisor to join our rapidly growing billing team.  The Data Entry Supervisor will report directly to the Billing Manager. The ideal candidate is located in the NY Metro area and is well versed in supervising a remote team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the data entry team to include workflow and the coordination of division meetings
  • Responsible for approving team members’ leave requests (PTO, etc.) and coordinating sufficient coverage as required
  • Support employee evaluations including performance reviews, corrective action as well as merit increases
  • Approve timesheets and overtime
  • Spearhead both new employee training and continuing education for team members
  • Partner with the People Division on recruitment efforts for the data entry team
  • Delegate orders and ensure processing is completed within 12 hours of receipt
  • Perform clerical and technical duties including but not limited to, patient file creation and maintenance and appointment scheduling in the EMR system
  • Responsible for gathering required paperwork and assuring completion in a timely manner
  • Assign and communicate tasks to the Prior Authorization team
  • Responsible for Q&A of the team’s output and meeting deadlines
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date daily, weekly, and monthly reports

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • 3+ years of recent experience in a related position (Medical Data Entry, Medical Receptionist, Medical Call Center)
  • Must have experience working remotely and managing a remote based team
  • Ability to type 60-70 WPM
  • Technically savvy (Microsoft 365, DocuSign, WestFax, Dr.Chrono, etc.)
  • Ability to prioritize job duties and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, osteoarthrosis coding, office billing forms, insurance and governmental payer regulations and other third-party billing requirements, preferred
