Location: Brookfield, Connecticut
Description:
We are currently seeking a Part Time CT Licensed Physical Therapist for in-home/remote, lower extremity, orthopedic physical therapy. This person will be approx. 30 mile radius (commutable distance) to our Brookfield HQ. You will perform up to 90% of visits remotely via telehealth platform. Evaluation visits may occur in-home, depending on the complexity of the case. Therapists should be excited to perform MOST patient visits remotely from the comfort of their own home. Therapists should also be able to welcome new technology and alternative approaches to traditional physical therapy. Entrepreneurial mindset is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Provide a variation of therapeutic techniques and procedures while performing evaluations and provide treatment plans
- Providing outstanding and professional customer service to ensure efficiency and promote positive patient experience
- Document patients’ rehab process
- Assist with any billing issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Physical Therapy
- Current Connecticut State licensure as a Physical Therapist (NY PT license is a plus)
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Strong oral and written skills and ability to work well under pressure
- Ability to adapt and be flexible with changes in workload
- Flexibility to work varied hours and possibly weekends
